I was delighted to be asked to produce a session at this year’s Children’s Media Conference by Greg Childs. I assembled a panel of experts to discuss the importance (or otherwise) of transmedia in a new children’s projects. The experts on my panel consisted of TV legends Phil Ford (Wizards Vs Aliens, Sarah Jane Adventures, Doctor Who) and Tony Reed (Storymakers, The Furchester, et al), leading publisher Amanda Punter (Penguin Random House), new media guru Anna Rafferty, online gaming legend Divinia Knowles (Moshi Monstest et al: Mind Candy) and animation expert Claire Cook (Nexus Animation).
